It’s 1919 and Pearlee Gates is on the run with secrets. She gets off the train in a small Idaho town. It doesn’t matter where this place is, as long as she is far from the Chicago mobsters. She meets bartender, Ralph, who wants her to work for him as a singer in the Westwood Inn. Feeling safe, Pearlee finally accepts. Until one night she recognizes a man at the bar and must run for her life -again. Ralph hooks her up with moonshiners who hide on the mountain.
1920 brings Federal Prohibition and locals conspire against the law in surprising ways, including a mysterious murder. Will Pearlee’s secrets be found out? Will she be safe?
