The Rathdrum/Westwood is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization.
The museum is run entirely by volunteers and is supported solely by donations. Your gift allows us to continue to provide the community with access to one of Rathdrum’s oldest buildings and the many exhibits inside.
Through contributions from the public we continue to maintain the Jail as well as keeping our Annex available to the community. Your support gives us the opportunity to share history with our many visitors.
Donations are tax deductible. Please submit the following contact form if you would like a donation receipt, have artifacts to donate, or are interested in helping us out with your time.
We are a registered 501(3)(c) non-profit, and do the best we can to make our donations count. In addition to keeping the lights on, donations go to:
We very much appreciate old photos and stories about the early days of Rathdrum, or any artifacts you might have lying about that relate to the period between 1860 to around 1920. We are very limited in storage space, but will do our best to incorporate historical items into exhibits. We can also take items on loan to display, and will credit the contributor as they wish.
Time and expertise are our most valuable resources. We are always looking for volunteers to help with tours during the summer and various projects throughout the year.
All contributions are valued. We are most in need of building maintenance, landscaping, archival and research project assistance, and IT support and maintenance. We are open to new ideas to make our museum and society more engaging to the public, and welcome the collaborative effort to make it happen.
If you would like to make a commitment at any level of your time and skills, please fill out the contact form and note what you are interested in doing in the comments. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
